Hafta Craft

hafta \hăf'-tŭ\, adverb : Deriving from ‘have to’, or ‘have+{infinitive}’ broken down into ‘have+to+{verb}’ but minus the verb, ‘hafta’ works as a verb-modifying adverb taking the place of the modal-auxilary ‘must’ which means literally ‘to be required to _______’.

"It's Not About Me Tea"

Our 5th annual It’s Not About Me Tea was a fabulous success! The women split up and dedicated their time to four service projects. Some packed boxes for the Aiken family who are moving to Florida in just a couple of weeks. Some were out at the Cottage Lake Safeway collecting food to stock the Acres of Diamonds pantry. Many got their hands dirty pulling weeds for a member of the Hmong congregation who owns and maintains a commercial flower garden. The final group prepped decorations and activities for VBS week. Both those served and those serving received rich blessings because of the time spent together.
