Because no child in our community
should be hungry on the weekends

In our community, 182 kids enrolled in the Northshore School District have been identified as homeless. Totes-To-Go was created to address student hunger during weekends and vacations, when federally funded school breakfasts and lunches are not available. Nutritious and non-perishable food items are collected, packed into backpacks, and delivered to school every week during the school year for distribution.

It is simple - it is straightforward - and most importantly it is making a difference.

The Northshore School District knows that well-nourished children do better in school, and they were excited to see this program grow.

Woodinville Alliance Church has been partnering with Totes-To-Go for the last two years. Through donations, the team has been able to provide 13 families with backpacks full of food for the weekend, and are hoping to support as many as needed.
