Justice and Mercy Ministries
Being Christ’s hands and feet in action
JaMM provides opportunities to serve the poor and needy by expressing Christ’s justice and mercy through action. In Micah 6:8 we are asked to “Act justly and love mercy and walk humbly with your God.” And in 1 John 3:18, “…let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.“ Our desire is to make available to our church body a variety of ways to serve others as God calls us to do. We have opportunities for all levels and commitment, so there is something for everyone.
We desire to see God glorified all around our communities and the world. The Lord has been about His plan of redeeming a people to Himself since Abraham. It is God's power that creates new life. Having received this new life by grace through faith, we obey His commands by reaching out with God's love to others. Anywhere in the world, from our neighborhoods to across the world, the faithfulness of one individual can make a difference.
Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 'This is the first and greatest commandment.’ And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
